The Independent is considering terminating their print form and relying on their online title only. Although the decision has not been officially made, it seems that it is very likely that it will happen in the near future as the national title that supports the Independent has been sold to Jonston Press, who seeks to invest more in the website. People working for the Independent are taking the situation in a positive manner by expressing their surprise about how long the Independent lasted.
